Sean has spent well over 10 years in the film world. After receiving his Masters Degree in Film and Video from American University, Sean began working at National Geographic Television as an Associate Producer. Here he produced scores of short videos on various topics. He began teaching film at the college level shortly thereafter, but remained in production. In 2007, Sean began at Mpower Media in Reston, VA serving as Editorial Director – producing content, managing the media library, and directing the editorial team.
Sean produced and directed the award winning documentary Out of the Darkness. The film explored the rise of pornography in our society and the effect it is having on both men and women. For his efforts, he was awarded Best Director, and the film went on to win several other awards, including The Mystery of Love Award and Best Documentary.
Ken Ferguson received his degree in Business Administration from California State University Northridge, dual-majoring in information systems and accounting, graduating summa cum laude. He was a senior Manager at Accenture, one of the leading management consulting firms in the U.S., for 7 years, before becoming Chief Financial Officer at Dick Clark Productions for the next 10 years. Following his success at Dick Clark Productions, Ferguson became Chief Operating Office (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for National Geographic Television and Film for nine years. He later started-up MpowerMedia LLC for 5 years, acting as CEO, worked as a CFO at Primus Telecommunications Group, and helped found Beach Mill Productions, LLC. His companies have produced such feature films as “Bella” and “March of the Penguins.”
John is a technical producer/engineer for a live, three-hour national broadcast on Fox News Talk. He is also a voiceover talent who has done work for a variety of clients including American Express, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Fidelity, Home Depot, and the Mars Corporation.
Sean is a serial entrepreneur turned business consultant. He founded, grew and sold two companies (Phaedo Consulting and NovusCG) to eBay and IBM respectively. He served as Director of Global Portfolio Strategy and Innovation at IBM, and then was involved in the management buyout of SBS Inc. from Brocade (BRCD), and subsequent sale to Delta F. He is currently assisting companies at various stages of development, from start up to mature enterprise, reach and exceed their corporate goals.
